CEBU CITY — The Philippine Franchise Association (PFA) opened the two-day Franchise Negosyo Visayas Expo at SM Seaside City Cebu on Friday, bringing together more than 60 franchise brands and business suppliers as it seeks to expand entrepreneurship and franchising opportunities across the Visayas.
The expo, which runs until Aug. 1 at the mall’s Mountain Wing Atrium, features franchise concepts spanning food, retail, services, education and other industries, alongside suppliers offering business support services for prospective franchisees.
Organizers said the event aims to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with direct access to established franchisors while promoting franchising as a viable route to business ownership. Admission to the expo is free.
The event also includes a series of seminars covering business growth, franchise investment and franchise development.

Among the sessions are a business profitability workshop led by ActionCOACH Philippines’ Camille Conanan and a seminar by Francorp Philippines Operations Consultant Noemi Ruiz on selecting the right franchise investment.
A separate paid seminar on Aug. 1 at Summit Galleria Cebu will focus on helping established local businesses expand through franchising.
“Franchising remains one of the most accessible and proven pathways to business ownership, and through Franchise Negosyo Visayas Expo, we hope to open more doors for Filipinos who dream of building their own enterprise,” PFA President Steve Benitez said in a statement.

The Cebu leg forms part of the PFA’s 2026 Franchise Negosyo Roadshow, which aims to promote franchise development beyond Metro Manila by connecting regional entrepreneurs with established brands and industry experts.
