EQT sells Quantios to Vista Equity Partners

EQT acquired Malaysia-based ViewPoint in 2023 through its Asia Mid-Market Opportunities Fund I and later merged it with TrustQuay, which was backed by technology investor Hg, to create Quantios.

Global investment firm EQT has agreed to sell Quantios, a provider of software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for the trust and corporate services industry, to Vista Equity Partners, marking the private equity firm’s latest exit from its Asia mid-market strategy.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026, subject to customary approvals.

EQT acquired Malaysia-based ViewPoint in 2023 through its Asia Mid-Market Opportunities Fund I and later merged it with TrustQuay, which was backed by technology investor Hg, to create Quantios. The combined business now serves nearly 700 organizations across more than 100 jurisdictions with software that helps trust companies and corporate service providers manage administration and compliance workflows.

During its ownership, EQT oversaw Quantios’ transition toward a cloud-based subscription model through the launch of Quantios Core, expanded the company’s artificial intelligence capabilities, and strengthened its product portfolio with the acquisition of legal entity management platform Klea.

“The successful exit of Quantios is an important milestone for our Asia mid-market strategy,” Nicholas Macksey, co-head of EQT Private Capital Asia and head of Asia’s mid-market strategy, said in a statement, adding that the transaction demonstrates the firm’s ability to generate value despite a more selective market for software deals this year.

Quantios Chief Executive Guy Harrison said the company had expanded internationally and accelerated product development under the ownership of EQT and Hg, transforming two specialist software businesses into an integrated global platform.

EQT manages €291 billion in total assets, including €155 billion in fee-generating assets, across its private capital, infrastructure and real estate businesses as of June 30, 2026.
