Temasek Trust’s C3H backs $1.2 mln round in AI healthtech injewelme

The round was anchored by C3H and the Richardson Family, a UK-based family office.

Temasek Trust-backed Catalytic Capital for Climate and Health (C3H) has led a $1.2 million funding round in Singapore-based AI healthtech startup injewelme, marking the company’s first institutional raise as it looks to scale contactless health monitoring technology.

The round was anchored by C3H and the Richardson Family, a UK-based family office, according to a statement on Tuesday.

The fresh capital will be used to advance injewelme’s DeepHealthVision (DHV) platform, which enables contactless monitoring of more than 20 vital health indicators — including heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen saturation — using a standard camera in about 30 seconds.

The company said it is expanding the platform’s capabilities to include additional metrics such as blood glucose, stress index, fatigue and hydration, while strengthening its ability to detect climate-related health stressors.

Injewelme’s technology, which uses remote photoplethysmography and AI models, has demonstrated about 95% detection accuracy in real-world pilots, the company said. It has been trialled with SingHealth Polyclinics and in private-sector use cases, with potential deployment across healthcare, eldercare, insurance and workplace safety.

The startup plans to use the funding to accelerate commercialisation, expand its customer base in Singapore, and enter other Southeast Asian markets.

The investment comes amid growing interest in solutions addressing the intersection of climate and health, particularly as rising temperatures increase the risk of heat-related stress and other physiological impacts.

C3H will also support injewelme through access to Temasek Trust’s network to help drive partnerships and product development, the statement added.
