Invest Qatar convened business leaders in Doha for a high-level investor dialogue on April 5, bringing together private sector stakeholders to discuss challenges, business continuity and confidence in the Gulf state’s economic fundamentals.

Sheikh Ali Alwaleed Al-Thani, chief executive of Invest Qatar, said Qatar’s business community had shown resilience in navigating “extraordinary circumstances” and said national institutions would continue supporting the private sector through a secure and stable business environment.

The agency said discussions highlighted Qatar’s macroeconomic strength, prudent fiscal management, diversified growth drivers and integrated supply chains as buffers against external risks.

It added that international credit rating agencies had maintained the country’s strong sovereign ratings, reflecting confidence in its fiscal position, liquidity and long-term stability.

Invest Qatar also pointed to the role of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and other stakeholders in ensuring uninterrupted business operations across sectors.

The agency said it was continuing efforts to improve investor services through digital tools, including the Invest Qatar Gateway, a platform offering market intelligence, licensing support and other business services.

Established in 2019, Invest Qatar is tasked with attracting foreign direct investment and supporting the country’s broader economic diversification drive.
