MOVE IT, a motorcycle taxi platform backed by Grab, is rolling out a new brand promise called “Keep Moving”, as it leans on route optimisation and in-ride safety tools to position itself as a more reliable option for commuters navigating heavy traffic in Philippine cities.
The company said the pledge is aimed at reducing waiting times, improving booking reliability and reinforcing professional standards among rider-partners, as congestion continues to dictate daily commutes.
TomTom’s latest traffic index has flagged the Philippines as among the region’s worst-affected markets for road congestion.
“Traffic steals time we never get back. This is time that should have gone to work, family, rest, and building a better life,” MOVE IT general manager Wayne Jacinto said, adding that the new promise is meant to give commuters more confidence that trips will not turn into a “standstill.”

MOVE IT said its reliability push is powered by GrabMaps and Navigation to provide more accurate estimated arrival times, smarter pick-up and drop-off points, and routing that adapts to real-time road conditions.
It also highlighted “Back-to-Back Bookings”, which assigns a rider’s next job before the current trip ends to reduce downtime between rides.
On safety, MOVE IT pointed to in-app features including a Safety Center for emergency contacts and quick reporting, live trip sharing, and “Trip Monitoring” that uses GPS and telematics to flag risk signals such as route deviations, unplanned stops, crashes or extended delays.
It also cited an opt-in audio recording feature, AudioProtect, designed to support investigations and dispute resolution.
MOVE IT said it continues to tighten screening, training and enforcement on road discipline and passenger courtesy, and currently serves Metro Cebu areas including Cebu City, Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu, Cordova, Liloan, Consolacion, Minglanilla and Talisay.
