Hotel101 says Niseko project tops off, targets Dec 2026 opening

Hotel101 Global Holdings Corp, the Nasdaq-listed hotel arm of Philippine property developer DoubleDragon Corp, said it has completed the structural works of its 482-room Hotel101-Niseko project in Japan’s ski resort town of Niseko, targeting an opening in December 2026.

The company said a topping-off ceremony was held on Friday at the Hirafu site, marking the completion of the building’s main structure and allowing interior fit-out works to move into full swing. Hotel101 said the project remains on schedule.

Hotel101 said the property, planned for the 2026–2027 winter season, will have 482 rooms and a range of facilities including a restaurant and meeting areas, an indoor pool and onsen-style bath, wellness amenities and ski-related features such as lockers. The hotel is positioned in Hirafu, one of Niseko’s main resort areas.

Hotel101 describes itself as an asset-light, technology-enabled hospitality platform built around a standardized “condotel” model, in which it sells individual hotel units during construction and earns recurring income from hotel operations once projects open.

The company said it has multiple Hotel101-branded properties in the Philippines at various stages of operations and development, with projects also under development in Japan, Spain and the United States, and it has outlined expansion plans in Saudi Arabia through a planned joint venture framework.
