Bai Hotel Cebu has been named the Philippines’ Leading Business Hotel for 2025 by the World Travel Awards (WTA), securing the title for a second consecutive year.
Representatives Carlo Rivera, assistant director of marketing and communications, and Buena Carla Zaldivia, director of human resources, accepted the award at the WTA Asia & Oceania Gala Ceremony held on Oct. 13 at the InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong.
The recognition places the Mandaue City-based property ahead of peers in the domestic corporate-travel segment and follows its 2024 win in the same category.
Previous holders of the Philippines’ Leading Business Hotel title include Holiday Inn & Suites Makati (2022–2023), Sheraton Manila Bay (2021) and Discovery Primea (2019–2020).
Founded in 1993, WTA bills itself as a global program that “acknowledges, rewards and celebrates excellence” across travel, tourism and hospitality. Regional gala ceremonies are staged annually, with winners advancing to world-level categories later in the awards calendar.
The Hong Kong event listed InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong and Airport Authority Hong Kong as partners.
Bai Hotel Cebu’s nominee profile on the WTA website confirms the back-to-back wins in 2024 and 2025.
