Philippine fiber broadband provider Converge ICT Solutions Inc (PSE: CNVRG) posted double-digit growth in the first half of 2025, driven by sustained demand for its residential and enterprise products, as it moves to accelerate its transition into a technology company.

Consolidated revenues rose 11.6% to 21.8 billion pesos ($379 million) in the six months to June, while net income climbed 12.4% to 5.9 billion pesos from a year earlier. Residential revenues grew 10.4% to 18.4 billion pesos, while enterprise revenues advanced 18.3% to 3.4 billion pesos.

Converge added more than 260,000 net residential fiber subscribers during the period, bringing its total customer base to 2.8 million.

The company has rolled out a refreshed corporate identity to reflect its pivot from a traditional telecom operator to a broader technology player.

Chief Executive Dennis Anthony Uy said the firm was building out digital infrastructure, enhancing products and strengthening its management team to “enrich the lives of every Filipino through our digital innovations.”

In the first half, Converge secured full Tier III certification from the New York-based Uptime Institute for its Caloocan Data Center, the first and only facility in the Philippines to earn such accreditation, and landed the trans-Pacific Bifrost Cable System in Davao to boost global connectivity and serve wholesale customers.

Product developments include the launch of “Super FiberX,” which bundles broadband with the upgraded Xperience Hub Android box, offering expanded functionality.

The company also announced board and executive changes, including the election of former NAVER Cloud CEO Park Weongi as director to support its push into enterprise cloud, AI-enabled services, and digital platforms.

Benjamin Rex Emilio Azada was named chief operations officer, while Laurice Esteban-Tuason and Christine Renee Blabagno took on sustainability and risk officer roles, respectively.

Converge was recognised among the Top 5 publicly listed companies in the Philippines and Top 50 in ASEAN at the 2025 ASEAN Corporate Governance Awards, and swept four major categories in the Ookla Speedtest Awards, including fastest fixed network and best gaming internet provider.
