Aboitiz Construction has begun Phase 4 infrastructure development of 100 hectares at LIMA Estate in Batangas, along with flyover construction, in a project expected to employ 195 workers at peak capacity with most hired locally.
The project, which started in the first half of 2024, is scheduled for completion within 16 months for site development and 18 months for the flyover construction at the industrial estate in Lipa and Malvar, Batangas.
The development is part of Aboitiz Construction’s expansion within LIMA Estate, where it has completed 217.5 hectares of land development across various projects.
The company previously developed Meadow Village within Aboitiz Land’s The Villages at LIMA Estate, adjacent to the 70-hectare Biz Hub business district.
Great Transformation 2025 Strategy
As part of its Great Transformation 2025 strategy, the construction firm is integrating advanced technologies to enhance site development processes and execution quality.
Separately, Aboitiz Construction is designing and building a food manufacturing facility for Big E Food Corporation, maker of Lemon Square pastries, including a production plant and operations building scheduled for completion this year.
The projects reflect collaboration between Aboitiz Construction, Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates, and Aboitiz Land to provide integrated solutions for business locators and accelerate infrastructure development.
LIMA Estate is a 1,000-hectare PEZA-registered industrial development housing 250 locators and 75,000 employees. The estate features Biz Hub, described as Batangas’ first master-planned business district.
Aboitiz Construction, celebrating its 50th anniversary, operates as the construction arm of the Aboitiz Group with experience in heavy industries, light industries, infrastructure and industrial maintenance across the Philippines.
The Batangas project aligns with the company’s focus on supporting regional economic development through infrastructure and job creation.
