Philippine Franchise Association Launches Biggest Regional Expo in Cebu to Boost Visayas Entrepreneurial Growth

Franchise Negosyo Para sa Region VII showcases 200+ brands, targets emerging entrepreneurs in Cebu.

The Philippine Franchise Association (PFA) has officially opened its largest regional franchise event to date, Franchise Negosyo Para sa Region VII (Cebu), at SM Seaside City Cebu, in a bid to accelerate entrepreneurship and franchise expansion in the Visayas region.

Held from August 1 to 2, 2025 at the Mountain Wing Atrium, the two-day expo gathers over 60 exhibitors and features more than 200 franchise and allied service brands.

The event aims to provide aspiring entrepreneurs and investors with access to legitimate, scalable business opportunities, including some of the country’s most successful franchise models in food, retail, and services.

“Cebu’s consistent economic growth, strategic location, and entrepreneurial spirit make it an ideal springboard for regional franchise development,” said Kenneth Lim, PFA Director for Central Visayas.

Alongside the exhibit, the event offers free seminars for would-be franchisees, such as “How to Invest in the Right Franchise,” and a forum on “Expanding Your Business Through Franchising” featuring leading PFA member franchisors.

A separate paid seminar — “How to Franchise Your Business” — is scheduled for August 2 at the Summit Galleria Hotel, targeting local enterprises ready for nationwide expansion.

The PFA will also host a Kamustahan session exclusively for Cebu-based members and its board of trustees. The gathering aims to facilitate networking and collaborative planning to sustain franchise growth and innovation in the region.

Open to the public free of charge, Franchise Negosyo Para sa Region VII (Cebu) is part of the PFA’s regional roadshow program to decentralize opportunities and promote inclusive entrepreneurship. It comes at a time when franchising is seen as a resilient business model, particularly for OFWs, SMEs, and professionals seeking stable, growth-oriented ventures.

The PFA expects strong turnout from business owners and franchise hopefuls across Central Visayas, as Cebu continues to assert itself as a strategic hub for innovation, commerce, and franchising in the South.
