AnyMind Group, Publicis Commerce Boost PepsiCo’s Social Commerce Efforts in Southeast Asia

AnyMind Group, a Business-Process-as-a-Service (BPaaS) provider specializing in marketing, e-commerce, and digital transformation, has announced a strategic collaboration with Publicis Commerce to enhance PepsiCo‘s digital commerce initiatives in Southeast Asia.

This partnership aims to infuse greater consumer-centricity into PepsiCo’s efforts, utilizing AnyMind Group’s software suite—including AnyX, AnyTag, and AnyLogi—and Publicis Commerce’s strategic marketing services.

In a significant move towards integrating social commerce into daily life, PepsiCo Philippines has embraced live commerce to offer personalized and interactive digital shopping experiences.

This approach has proven effective, with PepsiCo Philippines hosting over 300 hours of live streams and reaching more than 700,000 consumers since the partnership began in August 2023.

This initiative has positioned PepsiCo as one of the top three brands on TikTok Shop in the Philippines from September to December, with the company achieving the highest Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) category on TikTok Shop within four months of the collaboration.

Building on this success, PepsiCo plans to expand its efforts to other e-commerce platforms across Southeast Asia.

Leaders from the collaborating companies highlighted the strategic benefits of this partnership. Sudipto Mozumdar, GM of IndoChina Foods and Chief Commercial Officer at PepsiCo APAC, emphasized the importance of consumer centricity in driving growth and deepening market penetration through personalized engagement.

Sujith Rao, Managing Director of Commerce SEA at Publicis Commerce, noted the focus on exceeding client expectations by integrating social commerce into PepsiCo’s growth strategy.
