MANILA, PhilippinesPHINMA Corp has injected an additional PHP 300 million into its flagship township development in Bacolod City, signaling stronger commitment to the PHP 12-billion Saludad project launched last year.

The capital infusion was made through PHINMA Property Holdings Corp, a wholly owned subsidiary, and will be used to advance the construction of the 21-hectare mixed-use estate being developed in partnership with JEPP Real Estate Co.

“This new P300-million investment will allow PHINMA Properties to sustain the favorable market momentum for our Saludad project in Bacolod,” said PHINMA Chairman and CEO Ramon R. del Rosario, Jr. “This signifies the PHINMA Group’s stronger commitment to the Bacolod community.”

Saludad integrates key PHINMA business units, including PHINMA Hospitality’s TRYP by Wyndham Bacolod hotel, Southwestern University PHINMA’s first campus outside Cebu, and products from PHINMA Construction Materials Group.

The development includes residential units, commercial and retail spaces, and is designed as a business hub to serve professionals and entrepreneurs.

“We’re creating a lively, sustainable community for our beloved Bacolodnons where they can easily access essentials to dignified lives,” said Raphael B. Felix, President and CEO of PHINMA Properties.

Construction of the township is ongoing, with Phase 1 in the southern section scheduled for completion by the first quarter of 2026.

Phase 2 in the northern area is expected to be completed by 2028, according to PHINMA Properties Vice President and Chief Township Officer Paolo V. Reyes.

The township, master-planned by Royal Pineda+ Architecture.Design, was officially launched in October 2023. It marks PHINMA’s first large-scale real estate development outside Metro Manila.
