Big Bad Wolf Books is set to bring its international book sale to GMall Cebu for the first time, with the event running from July 25 to August 4.
The 11-day sale will offer up to 95% discounts on hundreds of thousands of new titles as part of the company’s push to make reading more affordable and accessible across the Philippines.
The book fair, to be held at the GMall Cebu Atrium, will feature a wide selection of genres including self-help, children’s books, non-fiction, and popular fiction. New releases such as Check & Mate by Ali Hazelwood and The Pokémon Annual 2025 will be available at reduced prices alongside bestsellers like Beautiful World, Where Are You by Sally Rooney.
“This year’s Cebu event will feature titles never before seen in previous sales, making it a fresh experience even for returning customers,” said Big Bad Wolf Books co-founder Jacqueline Ng.

To promote early engagement, the company has launched its “Share & Win” campaign on social media. Five hundred participants will be awarded VIP early access passes valid for three persons.
Tiered discounts will also be offered: shoppers who spend a minimum of PHP 2,000 will receive PHP 200 off, while those spending PHP 5,000 or more will get PHP 500 off. Schools and institutions that purchase at least PHP 30,000 worth of English books will receive an additional 10% discount.
Big Bad Wolf Books is also continuing its Red Readerhood initiative. For the Cebu leg, it will donate 1,000 books each to Boystown and Girlstown Cebu, which support the education and welfare of underserved youth.
Founded in Malaysia in 2009, Big Bad Wolf Books has hosted sales in 17 countries and 49 cities, including markets in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. The company aims to foster a global reading culture by offering affordable books through large-scale sales.
Admission to the Cebu event is free and doors will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at GMall Cebu.
