Philippine property developers are set to broaden their regional ambitions at the Asian Real Estate Summit (ARES) 2025 in Bangkok, a growing platform for cross-border partnerships and knowledge exchange amid shifting market dynamics across Asia.
The two-day event, scheduled for July 1–2, will gather more than 1,000 participants, including 800 confirmed delegates, according to event organizer Filipino Homes, a Cebu-based property network.
With a theme centered on “Empowering Growth: Fostering Global Partnerships with Responsible Developers,” the summit aims to strengthen industry linkages across borders and promote sustainable development strategies.
“The summit is more than a Philippine-focused event—it’s an entry point for aligning with Asia’s best-in-class developers,” said Anthony Gerard Leuterio, founder and president of Filipino Homes. “We’re seeing a shift toward regionally informed strategies, particularly in mixed-use developments and transit-oriented communities.”
Leuterio said Filipino developers are increasingly benchmarking against peers in Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia, where models such as tourism-integrated residential estates and rapid affordable housing rollouts have become market standards.
Since its launch in 2023, ARES has attracted a growing audience of property executives, urban planners, and real estate professionals interested in regional collaboration and innovation.
This year’s summit will feature senior leaders from top Philippine firms, engaging in discussions on adapting to rising costs, supply chain challenges, and evolving buyer preferences.
The Philippine property market remains resilient, underpinned by strong overseas Filipino remittances, infrastructure upgrades, and robust urbanization. Leuterio cited Cebu’s Bus Rapid Transit system and road expansions as examples of public investments supporting property growth.
Secondary growth areas such as Palawan, Bacolod, and Cagayan de Oro are also gaining traction. “Buyers today are looking beyond just location—they’re seeking lifestyle ecosystems,” Leuterio noted.
ARES 2025 is expected to provide developers with a regional platform to scale innovations, form strategic partnerships, and navigate Asia’s increasingly interconnected property landscape.
