Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino and Global-Link MP marked 25 years of partnership in hosting PHILCONSTRUCT, the country’s largest construction industry trade show.
In a symbolic handshake and photo opportunity at the hotel’s grand lobby, Ali Banting, General Manager of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino, and Patrick Lawrence Tan, CEO of Global-Link MP, commemorated the long-standing collaboration that has helped cement PHILCONSTRUCT’s presence in Cebu.
“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to supporting the Philippine construction industry and providing a premier venue for key events,” Banting said. “We are incredibly honored to have hosted PHILCONSTRUCT for 25 years and look forward to many more.”
PHILCONSTRUCT, organized by Global-Link MP, has consistently selected Waterfront Cebu as its official venue in the Visayas, drawing thousands of industry professionals, exhibitors, and innovators annually.
Tan described the relationship with the hotel as “built on mutual respect and a shared vision” that has enabled the event’s regional growth and influence over the past two decades.
The anniversary celebration also comes ahead of the next PHILCONSTRUCT Cebu edition, scheduled to run from June 19 to 21, once again hosted at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino.
Established as a cornerstone event for the construction sector, PHILCONSTRUCT serves as a platform for showcasing new technologies, sustainable building solutions, and industry partnerships throughout the Philippines.
