Data and AI solutions provider Straive has acquired SG Analytics (SGA), a Pune-headquartered firm specializing in AI-powered insights and contextual analytics, to strengthen its capabilities in data analytics and AI operationalization.
Founded in 2007, SGA has built a strong presence in financial services, information services, and the technology, media, and telecom (TMT) sectors.
It operates offices in New York, London, and Pune and is recognized for its consultative approach and deep domain expertise. The acquisition will complement Straive’s service offerings and broaden its reach in key verticals, the companies said.
Straive, owned by private equity firm EQT, works with Fortune 500 companies across industries including financial services, logistics, life sciences, and education.
Its operations span nine countries, including the Philippines, India, and the U.S. The firm has recently been recognized in Everest Group’s NA PEAK Matrix and AIM PeMa’s list of top data engineering service providers.
“This acquisition brings together two purpose-led organizations with strong domain capabilities and a shared vision to drive data-led transformation,” said Straive CEO Ankor Rai in a statement.
SGA CEO Sid Banerjee said the deal opens new opportunities for clients and employees, while founder Sushant Gupta called it an “exciting next chapter” for the firm.
Novistra Capital acted as the exclusive financial advisor to SG Analytics. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
