Philippine food company Century Pacific Food Inc (PSE:CNPF) has renewed its long-term supply agreement with U.S.-based The Vita Coco Company Inc, extending a partnership valued at around 14 billion pesos ($240 million) over five years.
The renewed contract, set to begin in January 2026, will continue to support about 4,500 manufacturing jobs in General Santos, Mindanao. The companies also reaffirmed their commitment to sustainability, ethical practices, and health and safety standards.
The renewal follows a separate long-term agreement signed in 2024, which covered an additional 90 million liters of coconut water over five years and prompted CNPF’s acquisition of Coco Harvest Inc. That expansion added over 1,500 jobs in Misamis Occidental.
Century Pacific entered the coconut category in 2012 through its partnership with Vita Coco, which has since become one of the company’s largest export customers. In response to rising global demand for healthier beverages, CNPF expanded its coconut processing capacity by 50% in 2022.
Both firms have invested in supporting the coconut supply chain in the Philippines. Their joint initiatives have helped over 10,000 smallholder farmers, and their combined efforts have resulted in more than one million coconut seedlings donated.
CNPF and Vita Coco said they plan to scale their collaboration further to drive innovation and expand their impact across both business and farming communities.
