Real estate technology firm MRI Software has completed its acquisition of Anacle Systems, a Singapore-based provider of property and facilities management solutions, in a move that significantly expands its presence in Asia and enhances its AI-powered offerings for the commercial real estate sector.
The deal, initially announced in March as a take-private transaction, bolsters MRI’s capabilities across the commercial, occupier, and residential markets in Asia Pacific, including both public and private sectors.
“This acquisition marks a major milestone in our APAC growth journey,” said David Bowie, Executive Managing Director, APAC at MRI Software. “It combines Anacle’s strengths in smart infrastructure and lifecycle asset management with MRI’s open and AI-enabled platform, delivering enhanced innovation and operational insights.”
Founded in Singapore, Anacle Systems provides technology for property management, digital workplaces, energy, and asset management, serving clients across Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan, and China.
MRI said Anacle’s offerings will be integrated into its broader portfolio, delivering end-to-end real estate solutions tailored for complex and regulated environments.
Anacle CEO Alex Lau said the acquisition will accelerate product development and expand client value through MRI’s global reach and innovation roadmap.
MRI, which serves over 45,000 organisations across 170 countries, was one of the first real estate software providers to enter the Australia and New Zealand markets in 1995.
The acquisition is expected to deepen client relationships in Singapore and support continued regional investment and product localisation. Anacle will continue operating without service disruption.
No financial details of the transaction were disclosed.
