Filinvest REIT Corp. (FILRT) has announced that Qatar Aviation Services (QAS), the ground-handling subsidiary of Qatar Airways Group, will establish its first Philippine office at Northgate Cyberzone in Alabang, Filinvest City.
The move marks QAS’s entry into the Philippine market and reflects its ongoing strategy to expand operations across Southeast Asia. The new office is expected to enhance the company’s regional presence and support its operational readiness and airport transition activities in Asia-Pacific.
Located within the energy-efficient Filinvest One building, the new office space aligns with QAS’s environmental goals. The facility is EDGE Level 3 Zero Carbon-certified and powered entirely by renewable energy, delivering substantial energy savings and supporting low-carbon operations.
QAS’s expansion is also expected to generate local employment opportunities and support the Philippine aviation and services sector. The Northgate Cyberzone site was selected for its accessibility, green infrastructure, and reputation as a future-ready business environment.
