Keppel DC REIT to Join Straits Times Index, Marking Milestone in Growth Trajectory

Keppel DC REIT will be included in Singapore’s benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) from June 23, 2025, marking a significant milestone for Asia’s first pure-play data centre real estate investment trust (REIT).

The inclusion is expected to raise the profile of Keppel DC REIT among both institutional and retail investors.

Since its listing on the Singapore Exchange in December 2014, Keppel DC REIT has seen strong growth in both scale and performance.

Assets under management (AUM) have expanded nearly fivefold from approximately S$1 billion at IPO to S$4.9 billion as of June 2025.

The portfolio now spans 24 assets across 10 countries in Asia Pacific and Europe, up from eight assets across six countries at launch.

Keppel DC REIT’s inclusion in the STI reflects its consistent financial and operational performance, supported by a diversified portfolio of income-generating assets focused on the data centre sector.

The REIT’s investment strategy includes colocation, fully-fitted, and shell-and-core facilities, as well as data infrastructure-related debt securities, reinforcing the resilience of its income streams.

The data centre industry continues to benefit from strong secular trends including the rapid adoption of cloud computing, digital transformation, and the rise of artificial intelligence.

These trends are driving demand for high-quality digital infrastructure, positioning Keppel DC REIT for continued long-term growth.

As of June 5, 2025, unitholders who invested at IPO have seen total returns of approximately 295.3%.

The REIT is also a constituent of several major indices, including the FTSE EPRA Nareit Global Developed Index Series, FTSE ST Index Series, and GPR Real Estate Index Series.

Keppel DC REIT is managed by Keppel DC REIT Management Pte. Ltd. and sponsored by Keppel Corporation, a global asset manager with expertise in sustainable solutions across infrastructure, real estate, and connectivity sectors.
