MoneyHero, RCBC Credit Cards Team Up to Expand Digital Credit Offerings in the Philippines

Personal finance platform MoneyHero Limited (NASDAQ: MNY) has announced a strategic partnership with Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation’s credit card arm, RCBC Bankard Services Corporation, to enhance access to credit card products in the Philippines.

Under the agreement, RCBC’s full suite of credit card products—spanning rewards, lifestyle, travel, and premium categories—will be integrated into MoneyHero’s digital comparison and application platform.

The collaboration aims to empower Filipino consumers by streamlining how they discover and apply for credit cards that match their financial needs.

The move strengthens MoneyHero’s market leadership as a digital acquisition partner for banks across Greater Southeast Asia and reinforces its role as a key player in simplifying personal financial decisions through digital aggregation tools.

For RCBC, the partnership aligns with its strategy to scale digital offerings and promote financial inclusion through customer-focused innovation.

MoneyHero will leverage its proprietary conversion technology and platform capabilities to broaden access to RCBC’s credit card portfolio, enabling users to make better-informed financial choices.

The alliance is expected to accelerate user acquisition for RCBC while deepening MoneyHero’s reach in the Philippine market.

RCBC’s credit card business has recorded strong performance, with receivables up 48% and the number of cards in force rising 21% in 2024.

The partnership will further drive growth by improving the accessibility and visibility of its card products through a seamless digital interface.

The collaboration supports both firms’ goals of fostering a more inclusive and digitally enabled financial ecosystem.

It also exemplifies MoneyHero’s asset-light, partnership-driven expansion strategy in Southeast Asia’s increasingly competitive financial services landscape.
