Banyan Group Residences is set to showcase its most luxurious Phuket real estate offerings at a sales exhibition in Singapore this weekend, as international demand for lifestyle properties on the Thai island continues to grow.
The two-day event, running from May 31 to June 1 at Fairmont Hotel Singapore, will highlight a slate of new residential developments, headlined by the Banyan Tree Beach Residences Oceanus—an ultra-luxury beachfront condominium project located in the upscale Bang Tao district of Phuket.
The 16 residences, including penthouses measuring up to 768 square meters, are designed to set new benchmarks for condominium living on the island.
“These homes offer a level of quality and scale rarely seen in Southeast Asia,” said Stuart Reading, Managing Director of Banyan Group Residences. “We’re targeting buyers who expect the highest standards and value spaciousness and exclusivity.”
Singapore is among Banyan Group’s top five source markets, accounting for 6% of historical sales in Phuket.
The group expects to launch US$1 billion worth of new residential projects on the island over the next two to three years.
The exhibition will also feature several other developments, including Residences at Garrya Phuket, which offers guaranteed rental returns of 5% over five years, and Laguna Lake Residences Aster—low-rise modern condos with rooftop pools.
Another highlight is the Skypark Elara Lakelands Residences, the second phase of Banyan’s Laguna Lakelands master-planned community.
The group plans to develop an additional 10,000 residential units in the area over the next decade, adding to the existing 3,000 units in Laguna Phuket, a 1,000-acre integrated resort community with direct beach access, hotels, golf courses, and wellness facilities.
“Phuket is increasingly seen not just as a holiday destination but as a long-term residential option,” Reading said, citing factors such as international schools, medical facilities, and relative affordability compared to cities like Hong Kong and Singapore.
Listed on both the Singapore and Thailand stock exchanges, Banyan Group—formerly Banyan Tree Group—is also marking its continued expansion as it celebrates 30 years since opening its first resort in Phuket.
