Mober Expands to Thailand in Push to Lead SE Asia’s Green Logistics Shift

Mober, a pioneer in electric vehicle logistics in the Philippines, has expanded operations to Thailand, marking a major step in its ambition to become Southeast Asia’s leading green delivery service.

The company rolled out a fleet of 21 electric trucks in Bangkok’s Bang Na district, where it will provide last-mile delivery for IKEA Thailand.

A new 1,600-square-meter charging hub in the area, equipped with four 22-kW and two 60-kW fast chargers, will support 150 to 200 delivery drops daily.

The Thailand launch follows a string of milestones for Mober this year. In February, it deployed the Philippines’ first 100% electric tractor head truck.

A month later, it opened the country’s largest commercial EV charging hub, with a 56-port capacity across 3,000 square meters.

“Expanding to Thailand aligns with our goal to scale sustainable logistics across Southeast Asia,” Mober CEO Dennis Ng said. “This isn’t just about putting EVs on the road—it’s about building the foundation for a more efficient and greener delivery network.”

The expansion comes as Mober ramps up fundraising to scale its Philippine operations and EV fleet in Thailand, with plans to grow the number of units significantly by early 2026.

The company was recently named to Forbes Asia’s 100 to Watch list for 2024 and formally received the award at a forum in Singapore on May 20, highlighting its impact on the logistics sector and its financial momentum.

Mober’s regional move positions it among a growing class of startups aiming to decarbonize urban logistics in Southeast Asia.
