Vietjet is expanding its China footprint with the launch of two new direct routes from Hanoi to Chengdu and Xi’an, with inaugural flights set for July 1 and July 6, respectively.
Each service will operate four round-trip flights per week, further enhancing the airline’s growing connectivity between Vietnam and China.
The additions mark seven Vietnam–China direct routes introduced by Vietjet in the first half of 2025 alone, reflecting the carrier’s aggressive international growth strategy.
The new routes are expected to boost tourism, trade, and regional mobility, especially for travellers connecting through Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to various destinations in China, Southeast Asia, and beyond.
This expansion follows Vietjet’s recent launches from Vietnam to Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shanghai, and complements upcoming services such as Singapore–Phu Quoc, and new India and Japan routes launched earlier this year.
To celebrate the launch, Vietjet is offering promotional fares via its official website and mobile app.
The airline continues to expand its Asia-Pacific network using modern, eco-efficient aircraft while enhancing passenger experience through SkyCare travel insurance and its SkyJoy loyalty program.
Vietjet remains a key player in shaping low-cost travel across Asia, supported by strong financials and global safety certifications, including IOSA and top-tier safety ratings from AirlineRatings.com.
