Mandarin Oriental and Landmark to Launch Chef Daniel Boulud’s First Hong Kong Restaurant in 2026

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong and LANDMARK have announced a partnership with award-winning French chef Daniel Boulud to launch Terrace Boulud, a rooftop dining concept set to open in January 2026 at LANDMARK PRINCE’S in Central Hong Kong.

This marks Boulud’s first restaurant in Asia and the first time Mandarin Oriental’s original flagship hotel has opened a dining venue beyond its own premises.

Perched on the 25th floor of LANDMARK PRINCE’S, Terrace Boulud will offer panoramic views of the Hong Kong skyline and Victoria Harbour.

The restaurant will serve lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and evening cocktails, combining French brasserie charm with global flair. The seasonal menu will draw from Boulud’s four culinary inspirations: La Tradition (French classics), La Saison (market specials), Le Potager (vegetable-focused dishes), and Le Voyage (world cuisine).

The space will be designed by Malherbe Paris, known for immersive, narrative-driven interiors. Inspired by the elegance of classic French brasseries and luxury train travel, the design will feature handcrafted details, woodwork, and layered lighting that pays homage to local artisanship.

The venture is part of Hongkong Land’s US$1 billion ‘Tomorrow’s CENTRAL’ initiative, which aims to reposition LANDMARK as a luxury retail and dining destination. Mandarin Oriental already operates 16 restaurants in Central, with nine Michelin stars.

“It is an honour to bring Terrace Boulud to such an iconic location,” said Boulud. “Hong Kong’s culinary diversity offers an exciting canvas to reinterpret French tradition.” Construction begins May 2025.
