Gealon Racing Team’s Lovely Gitaruelas Wins 20KM Women Championship at Enviro Cycling Race

GAMUDA COVE, Malaysia — Gealon Racing Team solidified its dominance on the international stage today when its top cyclist, Lovely Gitaruelas, captured the 20KM Women Championship at the 2024 Enviro Cycling Race held in Gamuda Cove, Selangor.

The event, organized by Persatuan Rakan Alam Sekitar UiTM (RAS UiTM SC) in collaboration with Malaysia’s Department of Environment (DOE) Putrajaya, Gamuda Cove, and the Department of Wildlife and National Parks of Peninsular Malaysia (PERHILITAN), attracted high-caliber cyclists from around the globe, alongside Malaysia’s finest.

Gitaruelas tackled the challenging mixed terrain, which included rough and rugged roads, mud, gravel, sand, loose soil, and a river crossing obstacle set amidst Selangor’s dense jungle.

Her performance underscored her versatility and skill in navigating such a demanding course.

Gealon Racing Team manager Rey Gealon expressed his amazement at Gitaruelas’ performance both domestically and internationally.

“I am incredibly happy and proud of her achievement today,” he said. “The course was technically challenging, but she remained unscathed and emerged victorious.”

The victory at the Enviro Cycling Race highlights Gitaruelas’ exceptional talent and Gealon Racing Team’s continued success in the cycling world.
