StarCruises to Launch Vietnam Sailings with School Holiday Voyages Aboard Star Voyager

StarCruises has announced its official entry into the Vietnamese market, unveiling three special summer holiday voyages aboard the newly refurbished Star Voyager.

Departing from Phu My Port near Ho Chi Minh City, the 4-night roundtrip cruises to Singapore will sail on June 13, 17, and 21, offering Vietnamese travelers a new luxury holiday option just in time for the school break.

The launch marks StarCruises’ first homeport deployment in Vietnam and positions the country as an emerging cruise hub in Southeast Asia.

The Star Voyager, which recently underwent a US$50 million upgrade, will feature modernized facilities and enhanced guest experiences across a wide range of accommodations—from standard Inside Cabins to the high-end Palace Suites, complete with private facilities and 24-hour butler service.

Each voyage includes two days at sea and a full-day stop in Singapore, where passengers will disembark at the Singapore Cruise Centre.

From there, guests will have direct access to retail and cultural attractions including VivoCity, Marina Bay, Orchard Road, and heritage neighborhoods such as Chinatown and Little India.

Onboard, travelers can enjoy a variety of amenities, including an adventure park, waterslides, lawn bowling, ziplining, and live performances at the Zodiac Theatre. Family-friendly features include a dedicated kids’ water park and rock-climbing wall.

StarDream Cruises President Michael Goh said the sailings will enhance Vietnam’s cruise tourism profile and stimulate both outbound and inbound travel.

The cruises are aimed at meeting growing demand for experiential travel among Vietnamese families and leisure travelers.
