HODL 2025 to Bring Over 5,000 Crypto, Web3 Leaders to Dubai

The 30th edition of HODL, the world’s longest-running crypto and Web3 summit series, will return to Dubai on May 14–15, 2025, gathering more than 5,000 attendees to discuss the future of decentralised finance, asset tokenisation, and AI-powered infrastructure, organisers said.

Formerly known as the World Blockchain Summit, HODL is organised by Trescon and has hosted 29 previous editions in global hubs including Dubai, Singapore, and Bangkok.

The 30th edition will be held at Madinat Jumeirah and will feature regulators, institutional investors, blockchain innovators, and entrepreneurs.

“HODL has become the definitive platform for blockchain innovation in the Middle East and beyond,” said Mohammed Saleem, Founder and Chairman of Trescon. “This edition marks a turning point as institutional adoption meets breakthrough technologies.”

The summit will highlight developments in modular blockchain systems, real-world asset tokenisation, DeFi innovation, evolving regulatory frameworks, and security protocols for digital assets.

Key speakers include Corbin Fraser, CEO of Bitcoin.com; Nils Andersen-Röed, Global Head of FIU at Binance; Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget; and Robert Crossley, Global Head of Industry Advisory at Franklin Templeton.

In a major development, HODL will partner with Pegasus Tech Ventures to host the UAE Regional Round of the Startup World Cup, offering emerging blockchain startups a chance to pitch for a $1 million investment.

HODL 2025 will also provide participants access to over 500 institutional investors, enhancing opportunities for capital formation and strategic collaboration with regulatory authorities, enterprises, and government officials.

Sponsors include Liquid Loans (Platinum Sponsor), Tata Consultancy Services (Gold Sponsor), and Facephi (Silver Sponsor), with CNN Business Arabic and Khaleej Times serving as official media partners.

Since its inception in 2017, HODL has connected disruptive blockchain projects with investors and policymakers across the globe.
