The HERO ESPORTS Asian Champions League (ACL), Asia’s premier multi-title esports tournament, has announced its full schedule, format, and qualification details for the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) events.
The ACL series will offer four coveted spots for the VALORANT Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025, with two spots from the VALORANT China Evolution Series (ACT 2 x ACL) and two from the ACL 2025 EWC Qualifier: Pacific.
The tournament will run from May 6 to May 25, with a series of high-stakes competitions that will lead to the final selection of teams competing for a chance at global glory.
Broadcasted globally on ACL’s Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok channels, the events will be available for fans worldwide, with live audiences in attendance for all stages except the Pacific qualifier.
Tournament Schedule and Highlights:
VALORANT China Evolution Series: Act 2 x ACL (May 8–12):
Co-hosted by TJ Sports, this stage will feature 12 teams from the VCT China league competing in a single-elimination bracket, with the top two teams securing their spots at the Esports World Cup.
ACL x VCT Day 1-3 (May 14–16, Shanghai):
A new competitive format will pit three teams from VCT Pacific (VCT PAC) against three teams from VCT China (VCT CN). The top two teams will advance to the ACL Grand Finals. Each match win is worth $10,000, with a bonus for defeating a higher-ranked opponent.
ACL Grand Finals 2025 (May 18, Shanghai):
The grand finals will offer a $50,000 prize and the championship title, capping off the month-long competition.
ACL 2025 EWC Qualifier: Pacific (May 22–25, Online):
A closed broadcast will feature 10 VCT PAC teams in a round-robin format, with the top four teams vying for two spots at the Esports World Cup.
The ACL x VCT matches will be broadcast in Chinese, English, and Korean. International audiences will be treated to expert commentary from Paperthin and Achilios, offering in-depth analysis and insights throughout the competition.

The ACL Grand Finals 2025 will partner with DreamHack, culminating in a thrilling spectacle where top ACL winners will secure direct entry to the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia—the largest esports event in history.
