The Philippines, through the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), generated PHP 151.9 million in sales leads during its participation at the Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) 2025, Asia’s largest and longest-running dive trade show held from April 4 to 6 at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Center in Singapore.
For the fourth consecutive year, the Philippines served as the event’s Official Country Partner, promoting the country’s premier dive destinations to more than 49,900 trade and consumer attendees.
The Philippine delegation highlighted the dive experiences of Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, Bohol, Cebu, and Negros Oriental through a dedicated booth featuring a dive tunnel installation that showcased the country’s marine biodiversity and underwater landscapes.
The TPB, alongside 24 co-exhibitors, promoted a range of products including dive packages, accommodations, liveaboard experiences, and tour offerings.
The delegation represented several key tourism regions such as Southern Tagalog, MIMAROPA, Central Visayas, Western Visayas, the Municipality of Malay in Aklan, and the Department of Tourism Regional Office VII.
The Philippine contingent engaged in business-to-business meetings, consumer selling, and onsite promotions throughout the three-day event.
The delegation also showcased the Travel Philippines app, a digital platform relaunched in October 2024 offering curated travel content, exclusive deals, and special promotions for diving enthusiasts.
ADEX 2025 also featured scuba diving instructor and ocean sustainability advocate Vanessa Vergara, who shared her experiences across the Philippine dive scene, emphasizing the country’s appeal for both macro and micro underwater photography.
The Philippines’ participation in ADEX is part of its ongoing strategy to position the country as a leading dive tourism destination while promoting marine conservation and sustainability.
The event continues to serve as a key platform for the global diving community to foster collaboration and strengthen industry partnerships.
