Nephro Plus Consultancy Inc., a leading dialysis provider in the Philippines, has received investment from Conifer Capital to expand its network of public-private partnership (PPP) clinics and address the country’s critical shortage of dialysis services, the companies announced.
The investment aims to capitalize on the rapidly growing demand for renal care in the Philippines, where a significant deficit of dialysis stations and a high prevalence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) have created a substantial market opportunity.

The Philippines faces a shortage of approximately 8,000 dialysis stations, with over 100,000 patients urgently requiring treatment.
The market is further propelled by government healthcare reforms, with dialysis subsidies from PhilHealth projected to surge to US$1.3 billion by 2025, up from US$300 million in 2022.
Nephro Plus, founded by Donna Gatus Mangulabnan, operates a growing network of dialysis centers and provides over 50,000 life-sustaining treatments annually.
In addition to clinical services, the company offers consulting, operational support, and equipment distribution, positioning itself as a comprehensive solution provider in the dialysis market.
