Philippine Airlines Honors Top Global Travel Partners at 2025 PAL Awards in Davao

Philippine Airlines (PAL) hosted its annual PAL Awards from March 3 to 7, 2025, recognizing top-performing travel partners from across the Philippines and around the world at a series of events held at Discovery Samal Resort in Davao City.

For the first time in its 84-year history, the flag carrier staged both its local and international awards ceremonies in a single venue, bringing together over 300 travel agents and industry leaders in a show of appreciation for their contributions to PAL’s growth and global tourism.

The PAL Awards Philippines, held on March 3 and 4, gathered more than 150 participants from 54 local travel agencies and service companies. Participants received performance awards and attended briefings by Department of Tourism Region XI Director Tanya Rabat-Tan and PAL executives, including VP for Sustainability and Strategy Salvador Britanico, Jr. and VP for Marketing Alvin Miranda.

The PAL Awards International, held on March 5 and 6, drew representatives from 95 overseas travel companies spanning North America, Oceania, East Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and India.

An exclusive networking session allowed local and international partners to discuss new business opportunities and tourism promotion efforts in the Philippines.

“Our success in connecting global citizens and Filipinos to the places and people that matter is the product of a strong collaboration with our travel agency partners around the world,” said PAL President and Chief Operating Officer Capt. Stanley K. Ng.

The airline’s top international and local agents were also treated to a tour of Davao’s key attractions, including the Philippine Eagle Center, Malagos Garden Resort and Chocolate Museum, and Poblacion Market, in partnership with the Department of Tourism Region XI.

The annual PAL Awards underscore the airline’s commitment to strengthening partnerships that support the country’s tourism and economic growth, while reinforcing its role as the Philippines’ only full-service carrier.
