NIP Group partners with ADIO to drive gaming and entertainment growth in Abu Dhabi

NIP Group Inc. (NASDAQ: NIPG), a digital entertainment leader, announced a multi-year partnership with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) to expand gaming, media, and entertainment in Abu Dhabi, including establishing its global headquarters in the emirate.

The five-year agreement includes up to $40 million in financial and non-financial support from ADIO over four years to bolster NIP Group’s regional operations.




The company will focus on esports operations, creative studios, game publishing, events, and talent management, while contributing to local employment in the gaming sector.

“This partnership reflects our growth and the rise of gaming in the Middle East,” said Hicham Chahine, Co-CEO of NIP Group. “Establishing a global headquarters in Abu Dhabi bridges our Eastern and Western businesses.”

Mario Ho, Chairman and Co-CEO, emphasized the deal’s impact on local talent and sustainable expansion.

“By creating new jobs and amplifying Abu Dhabi’s leadership in gaming, we aim to empower a new generation of professionals.”

NIP Group, formed in 2023 through the merger of Ninjas in Pyjamas and ESV5, has operations in Sweden, China, Abu Dhabi, and Brazil, and manages esports rosters across multiple game titles.

H.E. Badr Al-Olama, Director General of ADIO, said the partnership underscores Abu Dhabi’s ambition to lead in innovative industries.

The collaboration aims to leverage Abu Dhabi’s resources to build a thriving local gaming ecosystem while driving global digital entertainment solutions.
